CHILDREN

We find that children love the freedom of the estate and of course the swimming pool. Our own children have loved the following experiences:

On hot days head out to the cool air of the Foret de Cedar. There are easy trails for kids, logs to climb and den making is taken seriously.

Play a game of mini golf at Cafe Club, a chilled cafe garden in Lourmarin.

For children over 3 years old take this 2 hour one way kayak trip down an emerald coloured river. Kayaks for 2-4 people, they supply all the safety gear and the bus ride back. Welcome coolness in the hot summer months.

Aerial forest adventures with harnesses starting from 2 years old. Courses are graded by age. 

Visit Wave Island for a day out at this waterpark in summer (50km, 1 hour drive).

See stalagmites and stalactites up close at Grottes Thouzon.

Go for an hour's hike on the Ochre Trail, walking distance from the beautiful village of Roussillon, and is pitched as the 'French Colorado'. Walk amongst the old mines on the vibrant orange rocks.

For the kids that love ice cream don't miss gourmet ice-cream specialists L'Art Glacier. Dedicated to the classic and more adventurous sundaes. Opens at 2pm. 

The Haribo museum is good for a rainy day.
