SUSTAINABILITY

We care deeply about the impact of Mas de Michel on the environment and have therefore taken the following actions to minimise this;

• We use a Green Energy Tariff for our electricity power
• We use Eco cleaning products
• The vineyard has taken three years to switch to Eco wine, produced from 2020
• We invest in quality furnishings which should last years and we have many items that have been cared for over decades
• Wherever possible we purchase local products to limit airmiles
• No single use plastics
• We look after our loyal staff and pay a decent living wage
• We encourage guests to reuse towels. Please place used pool and bath towels in baths for the cleaner to exchange
• We have provided recycling bins and we encourage guests to deposit this in the local recycling bins split; glass, paper, plastics and food waste. Guests should also make use of the reusable shopping bags for grocery shopping at the supermarket and in local markets.
